Three Teens Killed in Indiana Crash

teens-killed-indianaIndiana State Police say three teenagers who left a school function early were killed when their pickup trucks collided at a rural intersection in southeastern Indiana.

Sgt. Noel Houze said during a news conference Thursday that the six students involved in the crash attended South Ripley County High School in Versailles, a small community about 45 miles west of Cincinnati.

Houze says the students had the day off school to attend a Future Farmers of America event at a rural church, but they left the day-long event in the morning.

Houze says the drivers of both trucks ran a four-way stop, with one hitting the other broadside.

Those killed were identified as 17-year-old Timothy Bowman and his passenger, 18-year-old Jacob Vogel, and a passenger in the other truck, 18-year-old Samantha Hanson.
