A North Platte man sustained minor injuries Tuesday when his motorcycle was struck by a pickup.
At around 3:00 p.m. a vehicle driven by 63-year-old Kent Hild pulled away from a stop sign at the intersection of Ninth and Vine, near Lincoln Elementary School.
At the same time, a motorcycle driven by 26-year-old Joshua Bodenus was eastbound on Ninth Street.
Hild’s vehicle struck the rear of Bodenus’ motorcycle causing him to lay the bike over.
Police say Bodenus had injuries to his arm, but did not sustain any serious injuries. He was wearing a helmet.
Hild told police that he did not see the motorcycle.
The motorcycle sustained about $500 in damage.
