SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) – It’s a case of assault — with a forklift. Police in western Massachusetts charge Brian Hurley used a forklift to pick up his girlfriend’s car with her inside of it.According to authorities, the couple had argued over money as she drove him to work. She tells police Hurley slapped her before getting out of the car. Police say Hurley then moved the car several feet with the forklift before dropping it. He faces charges that include assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
