Herman Ray Smith, 89, of North Platte, died May 10, 2013, at North Platte Care Center. Private family services will be at a later date at Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell. Cremation was chosen. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
