(AP) — A Lincoln “comfort” dog that has been to several national tragedy sites this year is now in Oklahoma to help victims cope with the devastation caused by a massive tornado.
Moses has been sent to comfort those affected by the Boston bombings, a West Texas explosion and school shootings in Newtown, Conn.
Moses is part of Lutheran Church Charities National K-9 Comfort Dog Ministry.
Pastor Glen Keylon says Moses provides a lot of relief to people — especially children — when they are able to pet him during a tough time.
The massive tornado that tore through Moore, Okla., on Monday killed 24 — including 10 children — and injured more than 200.
