(AP) — Authorities say that a U-turn proved deadly on Interstate 80 in Nebraska over the weekend.

91-year-old Emma Darnel of North Platte died Sunday afternoon.

The Nebraska State Patrol says Darnel was trying to make a U-turn on I-80 when a pickup truck pulling a camper struck her vehicle.

The man driving the truck and his wife were treated for minor injuries at a North Platte hospital and released.
