(AP) — Authorities say a 19-year-old Omaha woman has been fatally injured in a crash.

Omaha police say the accident occurred around 3:40 a.m. Friday in central Omaha after the woman’s sport utility vehicle ran off a roadway. Police say the driver overcorrected, and her SUV ran off the other side of the road and into a tree.

Police say Alexandra Bedel died as she arrived at a hospital.

The accident is being investigated. An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.
