The North Platte First Nationals senior American Legion baseball team split a double header with Lincoln High on Saturday.

The First  Nationals won the first game 8-2, before dropping the second game 7-4.

Luke Volz went a combined 4-7 with a double, two runs batted in and a run scored in the two games. The First Nationals are now 15-16 and play Kearney on Tuesday to try and get to .500.

The game on Tuesday is also Bank Night at the Ballpark with First National Bank.  Below is a tentative schedule of events.

5:30pm                      First Nationals Juniors Game vs Kearney

6:45pm                      Kids will have the chance to run the bases with song/dances

7:30pm                      FNB will present a donation check to the Baseball program

Rick Kolkman will throw his final First Pitch as Bank President (retiring July 1st)

Joni Jorgenson will sing the National Anthem

8:00pm                      First Nationals Seniors Game vs Kearney
