A former Kearney man will serve 90 days in jail for attempted first-degree arson.

According to court records, Bradley Gladwell spread gasoline throughout his home in January of 2013, and intended to burn his home down while his two roommates were inside the dwelling.  Fortunately, he never carried out his plan.

In addition to the jail sentence, Gladwell was also sentenced to four years probation and must complete outpatient counseling.

Gladwell now resides in Omaha.
