(AP) — The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission is inviting women to participate in a stock tank float down the Middle Loup River in the Sandhills.

The two-hour trip is set to begin in Mullen at 9 a.m. on Aug. 24. Women can bring friends or make new ones at the Beyond Becoming an Outdoors-Woman event.

Women must be at least 18 years old to participate, and must pay a $35 registration fee. Camping is available.
