(AP) — Authorities say a roofer has been killed in 30-foot fall in downtown Omaha.

Police officer James Shade says the accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. Shade says the man was working on a rooftop when he went over the side and fell 30 feet onto the roof of an adjacent building. Shade says the man wasn’t wearing a safety harness.

The man’s name hasn’t been released.
