(AP) — Authorities say a 17-year-old Nebraska boy was killed and his sister injured when a Cadillac smashed into their horse-drawn buggy near Pawnee City.
Pawnee County Sheriff Jayme Reed says the crash happened around 9 a.m. on Nebraska Highway 8/50.
Reed says a 1992 Cadillac Deville driven by 56-year-old Vivian Cockrell of Pawnee City hit the back of the horse-drawn buggy.
Rueben Yoder died at the scene of the crash. His 20-year-old sister, Fannie Yoder, sustained head injuries and was taken to a Lincoln hospital. But her condition wasn’t immediately available.
