ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP) — Peyton Manning’s contract is guaranteed through 2014.
When asked what he views as his window of opportunity, however, the Denver Broncos quarterback wasn’t looking that far ahead.
He said, “I don’t have a set number. I’m all in on 2013.”
The Broncos opened training camp Thursday, marking Manning’s second year in Denver and his second season since multiple neck operations kept him out for a season and ended his career in Indianapolis.
Manning says he’s feeling good physically as he enters his 16th NFL season. He also feels good now that he knows how the things work with the Broncos.
He says there’s no shying away from the high expectations for the team, but insists he’ll do it like he always does — taking things one practice, and one game, at a time.
