(AP) — The son of a county attorney in central Iowa has been given prison time for robbing a bank in Nebraska.
Kirk Reisetter was sentenced Monday to 15 months to 30 months in prison. He could get out earlier with credit for good time.
Reisetter pleaded guilty to robbery in connection with a September 2012 incident at the Nebraska Bank of Commerce in downtown Lincoln.
Prosecutors say Reisetter was a student at the University of Nebraska at Kearney when he entered the bank with a concealed face. He demanded money from a bank teller and left with nearly $3,000. Authorities later linked him to the robbery via security video from a nearby parking garage.
The 25-year-old is the son of Dallas County Attorney Wayne Reisetter.
