Lincoln, Neb. – The Big Ten Conference announced on Monday that junior Mary Pollmiller was selected as this week’s Big Ten Setter of the Week. The honor marks her first Big Ten weekly award.
Pollmiller guided the Huskers to road wins over Northwestern (3-1) and Illinois (3-0) over the weekend. She paced the Husker offense with 81 assists, averaging 11.6 assists per set.
Pollmiller also recorded six total blocks for NU. She helped Nebraska record a .307 team hitting percentage and added nine digs against the Wildcats on Friday night.
The last Husker to earn Setter of the Week honors was Lauren Cook on Oct. 15, 2012.
