Beverly A. Meduna, age 84, of North Platte, passed away October 7, 2013 at Linden Court. She was born April 16, 1929 in North Platte to Paul and Abbie Ohnoutka Wonka. Beverly attended North Platte Public Schools graduating with the class of 1947. As a young lady she worked at Woolworths. On April 12, 1950 she married Stan Meduna in Weston, NE. They settled in North Platte where they raised their family and she worked at the North Platte High School Cafeteria, and later worked for Tupperware.
Bev was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where she dedicated many years of service in the alter society. She was a member of the DCCW, Eagles Aux, VFW Aux and the DOES. She loved being around people and taking care of others and will be remembered as an angel on Earth, put on Earth to serve others.
Survivors include three children, Tom Meduna, Jeannie (Dan) Erickson, and Ron (Mary) Meduna all of North Platte; six grandchildren, Melissa (Terry) Kelley of North Platte, Jessica (Tom) Sheer of Omaha, Melanie (Cody) Freeze of North Platte, Jon (Shea) Meduna of North Platte, Adrian Williams of Lincoln, and Jay (Jessica) Meduna of North Platte; twelve great-grandchildren, Hunter, Baylee, Josie, Carter, Aedan, Abbie, Ellyana, Macie, Cade, Jace, Pheenyx and Mackena; special family member, Sharon Meduna of North Platte; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stanley; two brothers, Adolph (Eleanor) Wonka and Maxie Wonka; and a sister, Adeline (Al) Crowl.

Christian Wake Services will be 7:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with the Reverend Bryan Ernest as celebrant. Inurnment will be in Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. today at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
