(AP) — A young passenger in a Jeep that collided with a pickup just southwest of Omaha has died.

The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office said the crash happened around 6:30 p.m. Friday when an eastbound pickup on Highway 370 and a Jeep traveling south on 180th Street collided at the intersection of the roads.

Investigators say both vehicles ended up in a ditch.

Officials say three juveniles were in the Jeep and were flown to an Omaha hospital. A passenger in the front seat of the Jeep died. The driver of the pickup was not injured.

Officials have not released the names of those involved or the conditions of the other two juveniles injured in the Jeep.
