(AP) — The Archdiocese of Omaha has found two priests guilty of sexually abusing minors.

Archbishop George Lucas said Friday there is enough evidence against 54-year-old Alfred J. Salanitro and 69-year-old Franklin A. Dvorak to find them guilty.

Salanitro, who was accused in 2011 of sexually abusing a boy in the early 1990s, has been dismissed from the clerical state and can never again serve as a priest anywhere in the Roman Catholic Church. Dvorak, who was accused in 2012 of sexually abusing a girl in the 1970s, has been prohibited from publicly exercising priestly ministry in the church but he can retain his clerical status.

The archdiocese says it has reached out to the victims, as well as the churches where the men served at the time of the allegations.
