Christmas is the favorite holiday for many Americans, and one of the things that makes it so special is the music.

This Holiday season, you can not only enjoy the beautiful music of Christmas, you can enjoy it while supporting a great cause.

“A Christmas United” will feature some of North Platte’s finest musicians as the community unites to celebrate this wonderful season.

The concert, which will be held at the North Platte High School Performing Arts Center, will feature local favorites Job, Peter and Chuck performing with the NPHS Blue and Gold Singers.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to the 11 agencies affiliated with the Mid-Plains United Way.

Tickets go on sale after Thanksgiving and will be $10 for adults and $5 for students.  Children six and under are free.
