Boys Basketball

Omaha Bryan 61 North Platte 57 F/OT

Kade Erickson scored 17 points and Drew Callaghan and Shane Mauch each added 14 for the Dawgs, but it wasn’t enough in the overtime loss to the Bryan Bears.

No. 4 St. Pat’s 39 Hershey 26

Mark Mayfield led the Irish with 17 points in the defensive win over the rival Panthers.

Maxwell 40 Eustis-Farnam 18

The Wildcats held Eustis-Farnam scoreless in the fourth quarter en route to the win.

Bridgeport 51 Sutherland 37

Tyler Fear had a game-high 21 points to lead the Sailors in the loss.

Twin Loup 42 Brady 23

Sophomore Nate Sitorius scored 17 points for the Eagles in the loss.

Gothenburg 65 Perkins County 41

Tanner Borchardt lit up the gym with 31 points on 88 percent shooting for the Swedes. Borchardt was joined in double-figures by Blake Ristine with 16 to lead Gothenburg past Perkins County.

Girls Basketball

North Platte 71 Omaha Bryan 17

Kaitlynn Harvey led the Lady Dawgs with a season-high 23 points as North Platte improves to 3-1. All 10 players scored for the Bulldogs in the game.

Maxwell 39 Eustis-Farnam 33

No. 10 Sutherland 56 Bridgeport 28

Jalyne Schuster scored 21 points, Sam Staggs added 10 points for the Lady Sailors as they doubled up Bridgeport.

Brady 59 Twin Loup 27

Valerie Most scored 15 points and Carissa Rayburn added 10 for the Lady Eagles in the win.

No. 10 Gothenburg 58 Perkins County 33

Regan Geiken led the 10th-ranked Lady Swedes with 22 points. Aryn Meisinger also scored in double-figures with 10 points in Gothenburg’s win over Perkins County.

Boys Basketball

Lincoln East 60 North Platte 39

The Dawgs cut the lead to six going in to the fourth quarter but couldn’t complete the comeback. Drew Callaghan tied for a game-high with 14 points. Shane Mauch also in double-figures with 12.

Kaitlynn Harvey led the Lady Dawgs with 16 points and Madalynn Doughty and Sally Hengen also scored in double-figures with 11 apiece in North Platte’s win.

Jalyne Schuster scored more than half of Sutherland’s points and finished with a game-high 26 to lead the Lady Sailors.

Regan Geiken scored a game-high 21 points and Aryn Meisinger added 20 to lead the Lady Swedes over Southern Valley.

Kevin Hancock led the Wildcats with 11 points in a losing effort. Cole Taylor had a game-high 19 for the Knights.
