OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Omaha police say a 57-year-old man is facing charges after returning to a convenience store he is suspected of robbing to buy something.
Police say the robbery of a Kum and Go in north-central Omaha was reported shortly after 3 a.m. Thursday. Witnesses say a man entered the store and demanded money.
A few hours later that same man returned to the store and made a purchase. Police say a store employee followed the man to his home when he left and called police.
Officers arrested Laverne Brightman on suspicion of robbery.
