The Greater Nebraska Athletic Conference will hold the 2013-14 GNAC Tournament January 2-4 in Scottsbluff.

The North Platte Bulldogs boys basketball team goes in to the tournament as the No. 2 seed with a 3-3 record. The Dawgs will play seventh-seeded Hastings in the first round at 3:45 on Thursday, January 2. North Platte is riding a two-game winning streak, including a win over No. 10 Lincoln North Star on Friday. The Tigers have a 2-4 record and come in following a loss to York.

The North Platte girls basketball team come in to the tournament as the No.3 seed with a record of 5-1. The Lady Dawgs play sixth-seeded Hastings in the first round with a 2:00 tip-off on January 2. The Lady Dawgs have won four games in a row, while the Lady Tigers are 2-4 on the season and come in following a loss to York.

Both the boys and the girls games can be heard on ESPN Radio 1410 and online at northplattepost. Robert Lovell will be on the call for all three days of the tournament for North Platte’s games.
