(AP) — Authorities say five people are dead after a single-vehicle rollover crash in Adair County.
The Iowa State Patrol says 29-year old Alex J. Paz-Lobo, of Grand Island, Neb., was traveling eastbound Friday night on Interstate 80, south of Menlo, when the car crossed the median and entered the westbound lanes. It then rolled into a field.
Atlantic radio station KJAN reports passengers in Paz-Lobo’s car were killed; 41-year old Javier Martinez-Martin; 25-year old Denis Juvenal Sorto-Martinez; and 21-year old Jose B. Martinez. All were from Grand Island.
A fifth passenger was also killed. The male’s identity has not been released.
