(AP) — A trial is scheduled to begin Tuesday for a 35-year-old man accused of killing a father and two sons during a robbery.
Anthony Davis, of Omaha, has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder and three related firearms charges.
He’s accused of shooting 44-year-old Miguel Avalos, 18-year-old Miguel Avalos Jr. and his 16-year-old brother, Jose Avalos, on July 9, 2012.
Twenty-six-year-old Timothy Britt, of Omaha, faces similar charges. He’s pleaded not guilty, and his trial is scheduled to begin March 24.
