Shirley Helene Einspahr, 84, of Sutherland, went home to be with the Lord on March 13, 2014. Shirley was born Jan. 30, 1930 to Russell and Helen Schrotberger Wamsley at Paxton. On May 25, 1947, she married Wayne Einspahr in Oberlin, KS. Wayne and Shirley lived in Wauneta, NE for several years. They moved to Kimball, NE and Wayne had a plumbing and heating business. They moved to Sutherland in 1964 where Wayne was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad. They set up a ceramic business and Shirley enjoyed giving ceramic classes and going to craft shows. They also bought several homes in Sutherland and together they remodeled them. To this union three children were born, Cynthia (Bill) Allgood, David (Cindy) Einspahr and Michelle (Jack) Blomstedt all of Sutherland. Survivors include her children; grandchildren, Robyn (Kelly) Kendall, Lane (Connie) Dancer, Matt (Vicki) Dancer, Justin (Tabitha) Blomstedt, Jaden, Garrett, and Brook Blomstedt; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne in 2012; her parents, Russell and Helen Wamsley; her brother Gene Wamsley; an infant brother Alvin; and several aunts and uncles. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Grace Lutheran Church in Sutherland. Inurnment will be at the Sutherland Cemetery.
