(AP) — Two feminist bloggers will speak at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as part of its Women’s Week.
Katie Halper and Zerlina Maxwell of Feministing.com will be joined by student Ruth Boettner of Lincoln, a contributing writer for the Daily Nebraskan, for “Feministing: Offline and Unfiltered.” The event is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the Regency Suite of the Nebraska Union.
The website is an online community for feminists and their allies.
The panelists will share their experiences and perspectives. The event will include a question-and-answer session on feminism.
