A 19-year-old North Platte man is in jail after police say he was acting unusual and violent.
According to Investigator John Deal, North Platte Police responded to a disturbance at a residence in the 2900 block of West A Street on Sunday.
“Upon arrival, 19-year-old Tanner Aston was found to be agitated and exhibiting unusual and violent behavior,” Deal said.
Prior to officers arrival, Aston allegedly destroyed some property within the home and scared the other residents.
Following further investigation, officers found probable cause to arrest Aston for criminal mischief and disturbing the peace, both misdemeanor charges.
While being booked at the Lincoln County Detention Center, precription drugs were found in the pockets of Aston’s shorts.
As a result, he was also charged with felony possession of a controlled substance-Alprazolam.
