The sixth ranked Nebraska volleyball team kept on rolling with two wins over the weekend at the NU Coliseum. On Friday night the Huskers dispatched 11th ranked Purdue in four sets, 25-22, 20-25, 25-14, 25-22, making the Boilermakers the third ranked Big Ten opponent to taste defeat against the Big Red. Gina Mancuso’s 16 kills led the Huskers, with Morgan Broekhuis adding 13 kills and Haley Thramer chipping in with a career high 12 kills. On Saturday, the Huskers throttled Indiana in three sets, 25-19, 25-14, 25-13. Hannah Werth’s 13 kills were tops in that victory, which was Nebraska’s tenth straight victory. The Huskers are back on the road this coming weekend to try and stay unbeaten in conference play. They play at Wisconsin on Friday and at Minnesota on Saturday.
