Lela Marcia Morash age 75, of North Platte passed away April 21, 2014 at her home. She was born in North Platte on August 29, 1938 to Herbert A. and Elizabeth E. (Fairchild) Leach. She attended school at district #122 and graduated from U.N.S.A. in Curtis, NE in 1958. On November 9, 1958 she was united in marriage to Myron Morash at Hershey, NE. For over 20 years she was an independent contractor selling cleaning supplies and doing sewing for others. She was a life member and past president of the V.F.W. Auxiliary 1504, member and past president of the Military Order of Cooties Auxiliary, life member and past president of the American Veterans Auxiliary #5, and a member of the Eagles and Moose Auxiliary’s. She is survived by her sons, Rodger Allen (Kellie) Morash, Norman Lee (Kathy) Morash all of North Platte; grandchildren, Dan (Joni) Morash of Stapleton, Troy, McKenzie, Megan and Madison Morash all of North Platte; great grandchildren, Keith, Summer and Paige Morash of Stapleton; sisters, Treva Lynes and Jenevie (Delbert) Tobey; brother, Ebert C. Leach of North Platte; sister-in-law, Darlene Gordon of Nevada; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband; her mother and father; an infant brother, Gayln; sister, Twila Kruger; sisters-in-law, Shadra and Charlene Leach; brothers-in-law, Clive Lynes, Don and David Brennan, Marvin Morash and Bill Kruger.
