The North Platte Optimists Club will be hosting a Fishing Derby Saturday, May 10 in North Platte.

The derby will take place from 8:00 am to 12 noon at the youth fishing pond west of Bill Wood Field and is open to all kids. The Optimists will be present to assist the kids fishing and they will provide worms. Some tackle will also be available. No registration is needed, just plan on a morning of fun.
