A North Platte man broke probation with a failed urinalysis test and ended up in jail.
According to a report from the North Platte Police Department, officers assisted a District 11 Probation Officer around 2:26 pm Monday, May 19 with the search of 38-year-old probationer David Mullen. Mullen failed a urinalysis test, prompting the search.
According to the report, officers met with Mullen at his residence and conducted the search, discovering anabolic steroids and paraphernalia commonly used to administer steroids. Mullen was placed under arrest, transported to the Lincoln County Detention Center and jailed for felony possession of a controlled substance- steroids.
