GUERNSEY, Wyo. (AP) — A 21-year-old Scottsbluff, Nebraska, man has drowned in Guernsey Reservoir.

Platte County Sheriff Steve Keigley says a man jumped off a cliff into the water near Long Canyon in Guernsey State Park on Tuesday and failed to surface.

The body was recovered Wednesday in nine feet of water.

The name of the victim has not been released by authorities pending notification of relatives.
