Alison Lee Alves, 39, of North Platte, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014 at her parent’s home. She was born April 19, 1975 to Morris and Suzanne (Kaczmarek) Turner at Omaha. She attended Central Christian in Omaha and then North Platte High School. Alison’s children were her life; she was always selflessly giving to others. Her hobbies were Bargains and Babies. She was a valiant fighter and very tenacious in her care for others battling the same disease. She is survived by her parents; four children, Cass Michael Turner, Mauricio Edward Alves, Elias Christian Alves and Karisa Jean Lower; a brother, Christopher A. Turner; two sisters, Laurel L. (David) Perkins and Heather E. Turner; her love, Kent Lower; nieces and nephews, Kayla Perkins, Jon Perkins, Thomas Lower, Natalie Lower, Kendra Veirs and Kyle Veirs. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Bethel Church with Pastor Brett Terry officiating. Burial will be at the North Platte Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Carpenter Memorial Chapel. A memorial has been established at the Nebraskaland Bank in her name.
