LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A 27-year-old Lincoln man has been imprisoned for injuring his 5-month-old daughter.

Online court records say Andrew Vossen was sentenced on Monday to two to four years. Vossen had pleaded no contest and was convicted of intentional child abuse.

Court records say Vossen took the baby to a doctor in February. An X-ray showed that several of her ribs had been broken. The arrest affidavit says Vossen told an investigator that he’d accidentally dropped the baby a few weeks earlier. A doctor told police the injuries weren’t accidental.
