SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (AP) — The foundation has been laid for an 80-space columbarium project in Scottsbluff.

City officials began the project at Fairview Cemetery to meet a high demand for cremation burials.

The city website says burial spaces cost $300 for cremations and $550 for full-size plots.

The $60,000 dollar project is expected to be finished by summer’s end.
