Three frantic minutes were enough to erase three and a half horrific quarters as the Denver Broncos snapped a three-game losing streak with an 18-15 overtime win against the Miami Dolphins yesterday. The Broncos came back from 15 points down in the final three minutes on two Tim Tebow touchdown passes, and won the game in the extra period on a 52 yard field-goal by Matt Prater after DJ Williams forced a fumble and recovered in Miami territory. In Tebow’s first start of the season, he misfired on 10 of his first 14 passes, but led an 80 yard touchdown march and then a 56 yard scoring drive after the Broncos recovered an onside kick. Tebow’s run on a two-point conversion with seventeen seconds left tied the score. The Broncos improve to 2-4 with the win. They host the Detroit Lions next Sunday.
