Huskers Drop In Polls After Blowout of Minnesota

Last week, not playing allowed Nebraska to move up in the AP and USA Today Coaches polls. This week, a lopsided win got them moved down in the polls. The Huskers dropped two slots in the USA Today Coaches poll to 13th, and remained in the thirteen slot in the AP poll after their 42-14 dismantling of Minnesota on Saturday. The Huskers fell one spot to 14th in the second batch of BCS rankings this season. Nebraska racked up a season-high 515 yards of total offense, including a season-best 346 rushing yards, in ripping the Gophers for the fifteenth straight time in their series. This Saturday the Huskers return to Memorial Stadium for a huge game in the Big Ten Legends Division against Michigan State, fresh off their miracle win against Wisconsin. Kickoff time has been set for 11 AM.
