Transients Busted in Their Birthday Suits in NP

A pair of transients are facing charges after North Platte Police found them in various states of undress under the South River Bridge.

At around 7:20 p.m., on September 5, North Platte Police responded to the South River Bridge on the report of a male subject wearing no clothes.

Upon arrival, officers located 30-year-old Randy Nevsimal completely undressed, and a female companion, 19-year-old Jessie Hopkins, wearing nothing but a shirt, under the southbound bridge.

Following further investigation, officers determined that there was probable cause to arrest both Nevsimal and Hopkins and charge them with 2nd degree criminal trespassing and public indecency, both misdemeanors.

The duo was transported to the Lincoln County Detention Center and jailed.
