Russell D. Eyten, Sr., 48, of North Platte, went to his Heavenly home on Sept. 5, 2014. He was born Sept 18, 1965 to Raymond J., Sr. and Iva Joyce Eyten. Russell graduated from North Platte High School in 1984. He was united in marriage to Donna Herder in September of 1986. To this union they had two sons, Nicholas Allen and Russell D., Jr. Russell then married Fredrecia M. Licking on May 20, 1995 in North Platte. He was employed as a truck driver for many different companies. His last job was rail crew. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Fredrecia; three sons, David Lee, Nicholas Allen and Russell D. Jr. Eyten; a brother, Raymond John (Lisa) Eyten; two sisters, Alice (Steve) Paul and Ronda (Dwight) Livingston; eight nieces and nephews; three grandchildren; two uncles, Gerhardt (Janice) of Doniphan and Donald (Leona) of Lincoln; an Aunt, Margerie Huff of Hastings; and several other family members and special friends. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 12, 2014 at First Baptist Church with Pastor Dave Logsdon officiating. Cremation was chosen. Those wishing to sign the memorial book may do so from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which is in charge of arrangements.
