James Louis Maciejewski was born September 19, 1928, at Ashton, NE to Louis and Mary Maciejewski and grew up on a farm near Loup City, NE. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps before going to college and becoming a CPA.

Jim passed away in North Platte on Sunday, November 4, 2012, at the age of 84. Following his death, he donated his body to science at the Creighton Medical Center in Omaha, NE. Jim was cremated following his gift to science.

Graveside Memorial Service with military honors will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 19, 2014, in Fort McPherson National Cemetery with Father Jim Novakowski officiating. Following the service, Jim’s cremains will be placed in the Columbarium. The memorial book may be signed at odeanchapel.com. Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore is in charge of arrangements.
