Interstate 80 will be closed during the overnight of hours of September 29 and 30, at the Gothenburg interchange.

The Nebraska Department of Roads said I-80 westbound will be closed at 11:00 p.m., September 29, into the morning hours of September 30.

Traffic will be routed off at Gothenburg, and back on using the I-80 on ramp.

I-80 eastbound will be closed between the hours of 11:00 p.m., September 30, and 6:00 a.m. on October 1.

Again, traffic will be routed off at Gothenburg, and back on using the I-80 on ramp.

Officials say the closures are for the setting of new girders on the I-80 interchange bridge at Gothenburg.
