LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A Lincoln man has been given more than 11 years in prison for distributing child pornography.
United States Attorney Deborah R. Gilg announced Wednesday that 24-year-old Ian B. Wait will be required to register as a sex offender when he’s released.
Authorities say records show Wait distributed and received child pornography. He also exchanged text messages with an undercover investigator pretending to be a 10-year-old girl.
Authorities later searched Wait’s computer, where they found more than 860 images of child pornography.
