SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (AP) — A Nebraska Panhandle man has been convicted of a felony enticement charge after texting nude photos of himself to a 15-year-old girl.

A district judge on Monday found 34-year-old William Pritchard of Scottsbluff guilty of enticing a minor with an electronic device. He faces up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine when he is sentenced in November.

Authorities say a woman found the messages on her daughter’s phone in April. The girl tells authorities Pritchard texted her while she was in school.

Pritchard tells police he accidentally sent the texts. Authorities say they recovered nude pictures of Pritchard that he had deleted from his cellphone.
