cass county sheriffLOUISVILLE, Neb. (AP) — An eastern Nebraska woman has been released from the hospital after suffering burns in what authorities believe was a mobile methamphetamine lab explosion.

The 43-year-old woman was discharged Tuesday after suffering burns to her face, neck and arms on Sunday.

Cass County Sheriff’s Capt. Dave Lamprecht says the woman ran into her home near Louisville after a fire started in her car. He says investigators found a bottle with tubing in the passenger seat that they believed was used to make meth.

The Nebraska State Patrol dismantled the equipment.

Authorities are investigating. No charges have been reported.
