Husker Volleyball Tops Minnesota In Four

The fourth-ranked Nebraska volleyball team defeated Minnesota in four sets at the NU Coliseum last night. After the visiting Gophers took the first set 25-17, the Huskers stormed back to take the next three sets 25-18, 25-15, and 25-16. A balanced attack led the Huskers to victory. Hannah Werth, Morgan Broekhuis and Gina Mancuso each had 14 kills to led the team. Brooke Delano was a force at the net, tallying eight blocks. The win was a bounce-back after Saturday’s loss at Purdue, and moved the Huskers record on the season to 22-3 and 15-2 in the Big Ten with three matches left to play in the regular season. The Huskers return home on Saturday to host Wisconsin. It will be senior night at NU Coliseum as the Huskers play their final home game of the season.
