Frank E. Hultman

Frank E. Hultman, 98 years old, of North Platte, passed away December 20, 2014 at the North Platte Care Center.
He was born in North Platte, NE to Elmer Frank and Clara W (Nelson) Hultman on June 28, 1916. After he graduated from North Platte High School with the class of 1936 he was employed as a lineman by Crawford Electric of North Platte, NE until he was drafted by the United States Army on December 22, 1942. After his dismissal from the Army on November 28, 1945 he returned to Crawford Electric until he retired in 1981.
Frank married Mary Evelyn Teetor on January 21, 1941. To this union a daughter, Donna Dee was born. Frank belonged to the American Legion, Masons, Elks, and 40&8 clubs of North Platte. He was a member of the North Platte Honor Guard for years. After his retirement he and Evelyn delivered meals on Wheels, called Bingo numbers and sold pickle cards for the Senior Center among many other volunteer jobs.
Mary Evelyn came from a large family and they all considered Frank a true brother instead of a brother-in-law. He is survived by his four grandchildren, Rodney Smallfoot, Nancy Smallfoot Angell, Tammy Jo Smallfoot, and Jimmy Smallfoot; 8 great-grandchildren, Ashley and Jessie Smallfoot, Robert Angell, Christopher Smallfoot, Heather Montoya, Melissa, Joshua, and Merissa Smallfoot; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Darlene Teetor, Grace Teetor, Beulah Nanney, and Patsy (Bill) Halouska; brothers-in-law, Mark, Vernon, Glen (Judy), Ronald (Linda) and Wayne (Louise) Teetor; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 71 years on June 30, 2012; daughter, Donna Rosson, who passed away in April of 1998; a twin sister, Freda Eklund; sisters, Louise Hastings, and Leota Pearson; brothers-in-law, Arthur, Donald, Warren, George, and Robert Teetor, and Sam Nanney; sisters-in-law, Lorraine, Marian, Ferne, and Evelyn Teetor.
A memorial has been established to the North Platte Honor Guard and online condolences may be shared at www.adamsswanson.com.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 26, 2014 at Fort McPherson National Cemetery near Maxwell with full military honors. The Reverend Richard Karr will be officiating. Those wishing to sign the register book may do so from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. today at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
