LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Nebraska Attorney General-elect Doug Peterson has named senior members of his staff for when he takes office.

Peterson’s office says Dave Bydalek will serve as chief deputy attorney general. Bydalek worked most recently as policy director for the Nebraska Family Alliance, and served as a chief policy adviser to former Gov. Mike Johanns.

Chief Deputy Attorney General Joshua Shassere will serve as Peterson’s chief-of-staff. Shassere is an attorney who is licensed to practice law in Nebraska and Colorado. He most recently served as executive director of the Catholic Foundation of the Diocese of Lincoln.

Suzanne Gage will serve as Peterson’s director of communications. Most recently, Gage worked as a legislative liaison for Americans United for Life.
