LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A 3-year-old girl is leaving a Nebraska hospital more than a month after she was injured in a fatal car crash.

Anjellycka Heisz is scheduled to be discharged Friday from Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln. The girl’s father, Andy Partridge, says Anjellycka will require surgery and physical therapy in the future.

Anjellycka was traveling in a vehicle with her mother and grandmother in November when the car crossed the center line and rammed into a semitrailer near North Platte.

Michelle Heisz, Anjellycka’s mother, was killed. The girl’s grandmother, Vicky Allen, was hospitalized along with Anjellycka.
