OMAHA, Neb. (AP) — Authorities say an Omaha man has died at a hospital after his car crashed into a wooden utility pole.

Omaha police investigators say witnesses report seeing a vehicle driven by Carl Goodburn, who’s in his late 50s, weaving in and out of traffic before his car crashed into a utility pole on Tuesday. They say it’s unclear whether a medical emergency caused the crash.

A person performed CPR on Goodburn to try and revive him before paramedics arrived. He was taken to a hospital, where officials say he died several hours after the wreck occurred.

An autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause of Goodburn’s death.
