Broncos Win On Another Late Field Goal

Another game-winning field goal propelled the Denver Broncos to their fifth straight victory. A 20-yard kick by Matt Prater delivered a 35-32 win over the Minnesota Vikings at the Metrodome yesterday afternoon. Prater tied the game with 1:33 to play on a 46 yard field goal, and on the next play from scrimmage Andre Goodman intercepted a pass and returned it to the Minnesota 15 yard line with under 90 seconds left to put Denver in position to win. Demaryius Thomas caught two touchdown passes and Willis McGahee rushed for 111 yards and a score to lead the Broncos offense. The defense intercepted two passes, and Mario Haggan returned one of them for a touchdown. The Broncos are 7-5 and in a first place tie in the AFC West. They host the Chicago Bears next Sunday afternoon.
